A visit to Oahu

One of the best things about living in Hawaii is having weekend getaways to the other islands! I went over and visited Ava for the first time since she moved back to Oahu. She picked me up at the airport in a sketchy van Sam was letting her borrow. We had so much fun bopping to the music and hanging around the mall!

Ava wanted to get her ears pierced so we went to the INKPIT in Honolulu to get the job done. I was researching online and saw our lady who I knew could get the job done. Her name is Lisa and you can tell she loves what she does.
Ava had to go in by herself because of covid.. STILL? Luckily ears are a fast piercing. She came out 5 minutes later with some shiny diamonds. They looked good!

It ended up being the rainiest weekend ever on Oahu. I didn't see the sun one time. Good thing it wasn't my first rodeo in Laie. I attended the temple, did bachelor night with my girls, and caught up with Sam and Jansen.

I enjoyed some of my favorite food while I was there. Anna Miller has the BEST pie in the whole world. I love her so much. Ava and I are obsessed. We got there literally 1 minute before she closed #success. I don't even think the pie made it out of the parking lot.

We also had some Tina's Taro Boba. Ava's first time having boba and I'm not sure who enjoyed it more baby Kaiwi or us. I looked over and the baby was gulping down Jansen's so fast. We couldn't stop him because he is the cutest thing in the whole wide world.

The twins shared their recent travel stories from their trip to India. While there they bought some Indian spices to make butter chicken. We made that together one night and WOW that was seriously amazing. I think I would go to India just for the food. Also, you can't ever be with the twins without getting some good photos.

I slept at Ava's house and her room is the cutest thing. She has her own room and extra mattress. So it was extra easy for me to crash on the floor. Always a good time with sisters!
